Bright
Bears
has been purpose built as a child’s education centre and was opened in
1999. Our licence is for
a maximum number of 25 children per session. There are currently four
teachers employed. The building is on one level allowing disabled
access. The main teaching room is divided into a general play area, a
painting area, various craft tables (with a different activity per
session), a
family play area, pets corner, library area (including books
and puzzles) and a lockers area.
Outside, there is an
activity play-ground including a climbing
frame and slide. There is also a sand pit,
pirate ship,
play-house and additional activities laid out depending on the session
age group and time of year. The outside area is fully fenced with
a security gate from our parent’s car-park to the preschool.
Upon enrolment, we encourage you to come to the centre and stay for
short periods of time to acclimatize your child. This allows our
staff, your child and our other children to become acquainted before
your child’s official starting day. We encourage a parent to say
goodbye to their child, and to explain that they will return shortly.
Parents are welcome to stay with their child for however long is needed.
